& Lieutenant Will Morgan. Over the course of two posts so far, I feel that the characters of Zhuri & Morgan qualify for this award. Both work hard and are proud of how they work and their achievements. Evidence of this can be read in the posts: "Guess Who's not going to be best friends anytime soon" & "We're not in Kansas anymore"

Nominated by Captain Kristopher Kerouac
Though I am not typically a fan of nominating myself for anything. I had to excuse myself for this one because of the nature of it being a shared award. Despite having one or two more 'tender' moments, the new Chief Engineer and Commanding Officer did not get off to a great start, and their professional relationship still has some kinks to work out. The Spotted Blue holographic bastard that is the Chief Engineer and the less than sober, fool of a Commanding Officer make for an interesting read. Arivek is still trying to understand himself and his situation. Meanwhile, Kris struggles to accept a new Chief Engineer who he initially perceives as not much different than the computers and technology that the Chief Engineer is to repair and maintain.

I believe the character of Arivek Zhuri is not just well developed, but also comes alive in each of the posts the character is involved with.
Unsung Hero Unsung Hero
Awarded Tue Apr 21st, 2015 @ 10:44am
Nominated by Commander Jhu t'Dharvanek
Without Arivek's hard work, the Katana would be in a much worse state than she currently is. While the two away teams flew to the aid of another ship, Arivek remained behind to ensure that the Katana would be prepared to fight or escape, should the Breen return. It is my opinion that without Arivek's engineering knowledge, it would be quite impossible for the engineering team to repair the Katana so swiftly.
