Personality & Traits

General Overview Ethan is a nice guy, and sociable. He can easily make time to help out his friends. Ethan is relaxed and informal, even when on duty. He doesn't care much for formality, or anything at all, really. Ethan is lazy, dispassionate, and an avid procrastinator. You can expect him to complete a task either on time, or done well; never will do his job in a timely manner and do it right at the same time.
Strengths & Weaknesses +Ethan is a decent administrator, and has a greater tolerance for a paperwork and beauracratic BS than a vast majority of his peers.

+Ethan payed attention in his transporter science classes, and can serve as a functional transporter specialist if need be.

+Ethan's laziness can come in handy, because he can almost always find an easier way to finish a task, or find a loophole through which to escape a task altogether.

-While Ethan took many Operations classes, and is okay at performing day-to-day maintenance, a regular Ops Officer would do a much better job.

-Ethan is lazy, and doesn't do his work on time.

-Ethan is patient, almost too patient, and by the time he takes action to solve a problem, he is often too late to fix it.
Ambitions A lazy and unambitious person, Ethan has no set plans for his future. He hopes to get a girlfriend, and get promoted to full Lieutenant at some point, but he's not picky as to when.
Hobbies & Interests Ethan's favorite hobby is sleeping, which he tries to do as much as possible, even when on duty. He also likes to play checkers, though good opponents are hard to come by.

Personal History Ethan was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2266. His dad worked as a pharmacist, his mom stayed home. During his childhood, Ethan was one of those kids who effortlessly got straight As, but didn't really apply himself to his studies. Ethan breezed through school, and was Valedictorian of his high school in 2384.

Ethan applied to Starfleet Academy, and was barely accepted. His scores were just good enough to get in. But when Ethan started, he realized that his classes were now much harder than they were in high school. Ethan's grades fell a decent amount, and he received a B to C average his first two years. In his junior year, Ethan specialized in Operations. He supposedly learned how to maintain ship systems and keep things running, but he really didn't pay much attention in most of his math and engineering classes, and his grades showed it. However, Ethan did make decent grades in transporter science, and high marks in management and administration classes.

The next year, Starfleet decided to send Ethan out on a cadet assignment. But this wasn't some advanced position like Ops Officer or Transport Specialist. Ethan was assigned to be a supply clerk. Supply clerks took inventory of supplies, scheduled deliveries, and took requests. Ethan juggled his job with a few classes and got his commission after a year of supply work. Now, Ethan has been transferred to the Katana, to become its QM.
